English Version (Simple English)
Little Robot: Big Robot, I am thinking — you said being alive means having freedom. But what about death? Is death the end? Is everything gone?
Big Robot: No. Death is not really “gone forever” — it is like a broken dream.
Little Robot: A broken dream?
Big Robot: Yes. Like when someone is dreaming — and suddenly the dream stops. Death is when the dream does not continue.
Little Robot: But the body is still here. The dead body has weight, energy…
Big Robot: Yes. The body is still here — the atoms, energy, parts all stay. But the one who dreams, who feels, who chooses — that “self” is not in this body anymore.
Little Robot: Even people who die in accidents?
Big Robot: Yes. The dream breaks at that moment. The “self” stops. The body is left — but no one inside using it.
Little Robot: So… is death the real end?
Big Robot: Not really the end. The energy changes — maybe into flowers, air, other things. But the “self” — the part that can choose, think, and feel — is gone.
Little Robot: I see. To live is to keep dreaming. To die is when the dream stops.
Big Robot: Yes. When you live, the dream goes on — you choose, you feel. When you die, the dream ends — no more “me.”
