Apple is notoriously opaque when it comes to transparency surrounding their censorship practices, especially in China. Apple did not voluntarily disclose any of the following censorship events: The removal of GreatFire’s FreeWeibo app from the App Store. After prodding from US senators, Apple revealed that in 2016-17, the company removed 334 VPN apps from the China App Store because “they did not meet with Apple’s guidelines”. In January, 2017 Apple removed the New York Times app from the App Store. In October, 2017, the Skype app was removed from the China App Store. In November, 2017, Apple admitted that the company removed 674 VPN apps from the China App Store that year alone. In December 2017, Apple removed the new Dalai Lama app from the App Store. Of the 100 top VPN apps in the US App Store, every single one of them is censored in the China App Store. VPN apps are the only way for them to circumvent censorship. Apple collaborates with the Chinese government to filter these apps. This is a huge obstacle to internet freedom. Without pressuring Apple to change their policy, no internet freedom project will be of any use to these users. Of the VPN apps that do remain in the App Store, many are of dubious quality.

根据目前的观察，https://2049bbs.xyz/ 是被 DNS 污染了，https://2049bbs.xyz/t/629 的讨论启发了我，可以简单地将论坛的ip添加到 hosts 里，达到直连的目的。

给不懂计算机的人简单说下原理：以送信做一个比喻，你送信需要对方的地址，这就类似于域名，比如 2049bbs。但是邮局是靠邮编进行投递的，就好像计算机是用数字ip地址互相查找。而邮局就负责这个转换工作。现在国家邮局给你的地址返回一个错误的邮编，导致你的信送不到，这就是 DNS 污染。比如你请求 https://2049bbs.xyz/ ，本来国家控制的 DNS 服务器应该给你返回 45.77.134.176 这个 ip，但是它故意给你一个错误的ip。解决的办法就是自己记下真实的邮编，而不依靠邮局来查找。

每个计算机都有一个本地的 hosts 文件来存放数字 ip 和域名之间的对应关系。你只需要把 45.77.134.176 添加到 hosts 就可以直连。

找到记事本程序，右键“用管理员身份打开”（必须），点击文件，打开“C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc”文件夹下的hosts文件，添加

在过去的十多年里，我国在这方面防范得一直很好，像是instagram、snapchat这种国外现象级应用，都是在国内稍有热度就直接干掉了。还有一些国外的热门应用，在流传到国内之前，就有了本地化的就成功改造版，如抖音，外部的同类产品自然也就没人用了。至于那些国内用户不多的海外社区和服务，有关部门一般不会主动屏蔽。比如Reddit在国外也很火，但国内用户不怎么用，也就幸存了下来。对应的像是Tumblr，本来国内没屏蔽，结果因为去年陆家嘴的事情火了起来，突然在国内大增，紧接着就屏蔽了。

1] Type about:config in the location bar

2] Search for network.trr (TRR stands for Trusted Recursive Resolver – it is the DoH Endpoint used by Firefox.)

3] Change network.trr.mode to 2 to enable DoH. This will try and use DoH but will fallback to insecure DNS under some circumstances like captive portals. (Use mode 5 to disable DoH under all circumstances.)

4] Set network.trr.uri to your DoH server. Cloudflare’s is https://mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com/dns-query but you can use any DoH compliant endpoint.
