ChatGPT helped me earn my degree
Long story short, I transferred into my bachelors program, but didn’t have 6 of the freshman required courses done. I made them up as I went, but I still had 1 unfinished 100 level class and 2 unfinished 300s. I got a pretty good job in my field lined up right after I finished my thesis.
After working full time for a while, I needed to do that last push and finish my degree. I was able work it around my schedule and still work, and take those last classes. Homework on the other hand, was a huge issue. Being out of the house for 11 hours a day doesn’t leave a lot of room to write papers and do research.
So I took a day. One day. Using ChatGPT I did a semester’s worth of academic work in a day. I had to do a lot of rewording and reordering because chat sometimes has a really repetitive vocabulary, and you can spot that string of four sentence paragraphs from space, but I didn’t have to worry about regurgitating every drop of information I needed to write.
The key difference between doing it myself and using ChatGPT, was that it was way way faster. It still reads like my voice, but I didn’t have to take two hours per assignment to word vomit a wall of text I pull from, chat did it for me, and already put it in order.
This is an amazing tool.
Edit: I guess I could clarify that I’m an art student. I was missing 3 art history classes. I have a hands on job in production and having a few years of tool and materials experience is the important part, not having an in depth knowledge of the Land Art movement.
注: 我必须说明下我是艺术系学生，我缺三门艺术史课程，我从事实际操作的生产工作，有几年的工具和材料经验是重要的因素，但是我对地面艺术（land art）运动缺乏深入了解。
